    Chester Gould Dick Tracy Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-17-67 (Chicago Tribune Syndicate, 1956). A close-range nuclear bombing leaves a city street paralyzed. Detectives Dick Tracy and Sam Catchem are befuddled. A cab driver is missing, his license frame found in a fragment. A pivotal mystery sequence from Gould's Moon-mania science-fiction phase, with flying-bucket police vehicles prominently shown. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 20" x 23.5". Scattered adhesive staining and moderate age-toning; otherwise in Very Good condition.
