Chester Gould Dick Tracy Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-19-36 (Chicago Tribune, 1936). One of the few Tracy strips we have ever offered from the 1934-36 time period, and one of the few from that time range that even exists! Tracy and Pat have set a trap for Manlis. This classic daily, titled "Chauffeur Calling" has an ink over graphite on Strathmore Bristol board image area of 20" x 5.75". Signed and inscribed in the upper right border. With light overall paper toning, edge and handling wear, light soiling and moderate ink smudging in the last panel, the art is in Good to Very Good condition.
    From the Ray Edw Collection.
