Charlie Adlard The Walking Dead #51 Cover Original Art (Image, 2008). Surprisingly, not many of The Walking Dead covers actually have zombies on them! But this one certainly does, and here, the undead corner one of the last of the living. An ominous scene that's both horrific and stunning, done in Adlard's chiaroscuro style. The TV series, based on the post-apocalyptic Eisner Award-winning horror book, propelled this title into "legendary" status and has brought more attention to the comic industry than almost any other non-Marvel/non-DC series ever. Created in ink on Image Bristol board with an image area of 8.75" x 13.5". It is signed by Adlard in the image area, and in bottom margin with a head sketch. Comes with 9.8 CGC Signature Series copy of the comic, signed by Kirkman.
