Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Snoopy and Schroeder Original Art dated 5-2-52 (United Feature Syndicate, 1952). Early Peanuts strips are such a treat! And here's a great one, with a cast that features Snoopy and Schroeder, two major characters from back when they were still considered "younger". Schroeder actually speaks in this strip, something he had done on only a couple of previous occasions. Schulz was a master of writing comic strips that appealed to both young and old alike, and this is a fine example. Who knew that Snoopy was such a good musician? Hey Schroeder, jealous much?
This daily strip was produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an approximate image area of 27" x 5". The art board shows the usual mailing fold crease between panels two and three, and there are a couple of stains at the bottom. Part of the title stat is missing. In Very Good condition. Signed and inscribed in the first panel: "For Sidney Miller with my very best wishes -- Charles M. Schulz." It's getting harder and harder to find Peanuts dailies this old, this one hailing from just the second full year of the strip's production. Don't let this early, prime example pass you by!

More Information: EDIT: Added inscription details.
