Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-3-86 (United Feature Syndicate, 1986). Charlie Brown's baseball team is great at one thing -- losing! Somehow, we can see how Lucy can't accept losing gracefully -- after all, she's Lucy Van Pelt, the world's greatest "fuss-budget!" This mid-eighties daily is certainly no loser, though -- especially if a baseball-themed Peanuts strip has been on your want list! The art is in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 21" x 5". It's matted and framed with Plexiglas, for an overall size of 27" x 11.5". The art board appears to have slightly toned, and there's the usual fold crease between the second and third panels, but overall, the art looks to be in Excellent condition. It's been signed "Best Wishes -- Charles M. Schulz" in the upper left border.
