Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-25-57 (United Feature Syndicate, 1957). Oh, that Lucy. She's forever belittling Charlie Brown, taunting him with footballs, ruining his baseball games, and now, comparing him to a turtle turned over on his back! Of course, it doesn't help that our man is down on the ice in a heavy coat and can't get up! It's just another day in the life of our favorite comics "Everyman" (or maybe "Everykid"), in a great vintage daily. The art is in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of approximately 27" x 5.5". There's a slight bit of handling wear and the customary fold line down the middle, between the second and third panels; otherwise, it remains in Excellent condition. The art has been matted to 30.5" x 11.75".
