Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-12-65 (United Feature Syndicate, 1965). Schroeder's concerto gets interrupted... by a nose! They say "music has charms to soothe the savage breast" and we can see it soothing a not-so-savage beagle as well, in this cute 1965 daily. We always love Schulz's "musical note" episodes, usually featuring Lucy as the swooning fan of Schroeder's skills (after all, not everyone can get this kind of music from a toy piano with painted-on black keys), but Snoopy gets our vote as the funniest "patron of the arts." The art is in ink on Bristol board, with an image area of 27" x 5.5", matted to an overall 30.75" x 9.75". There's some paper tanning, mainly on the mat; otherwise, the art is in Excellent condition.
