    Description

Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Charlie Brown and Snoopy Original Art dated 10-4-66 (United Feature Syndicate, 1966). This daily strip features Snoopy getting a brand new doghouse. It is all the more poignant when you realize that his original doghouse burned to a cinder on 9-19-66. The charred husk of the original house was seen in no less than eight strips over the next two weeks, driving home the sadness of the event, and making this resolution that much sweeter. It is produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 27" x 5.5". There is tanning, handling wear, and some slight warping from storage. It has previously been folded down the center gutter between panels for mailing to the syndicate. It is personally signed by Schulz in the top margin. Overall in Very Good condition.
