Carmine Infantino Mystery in Space #90 Adam Strange Cover Recreation Original Art (1994). Ask any longtime fan of Silver Age DC superhero/science fiction comics to list their all-time favorite covers, and you'll likely see Mystery in Space #90 mentioned. This was the iconic cover that featured Adam Strange's two worlds colliding, with a wonderful in-flight shot of Strange in space between Rann and Earth, plus head shots of Strange and the issue's co-star, Hawkman, in the bottom right corner. Original pencil artist Carmine Infantino relived the glory of that 1964 cover (inked by Murphy Anderson) with this meticulous modern-day recreation, drawn in ink and graphite on Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 12.5" x 18.25". The title logo, DC and Comics Code stamp, and all lettering are photostats. The art is in Excellent condition. Signed and dated 5/27/94 at the bottom of the page by the late Mr. Infantino (1925-2013).
