Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson - Riddler Poster Illustration Original Art (DC, 1966). Riddle me this... what starts as a poster, but becomes a Pepsi glass and Mego Action Figure box art? The answer... this piece of original art! Crafted originally as part of a set of six posters that were offered in house ads in various DC comics throughout 1966-67, this fantastic study of the quick-witted crook was also partially the inspiration for his appearance on the cover of Detective #377 (where it was redrawn by Irv Novick). This piece by master artists Infantino and Anderson would become part of the initial DC comics style guide. It is produced in ink over graphite on 11.5" x 14.5" Bristol board. There is slight tanning and handling wear, otherwise in Excellent condition and a piece of DC Comics' history.
