Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson Mystery in Space #90 Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1964). Adam Strange and Alanna team up with Hawkman and Hawkgirl to prevent the destruction of Earth and Rann -- the first of many crossovers featuring the popular heroes. A monumental opening splash by the acclaimed DC art team of Infantino and Anderson, rendered at twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". Slight toning, name logo paste-ups, light creasing, with smudging and handling wear. In Very Good condition. The issue that contained the splash page also had an iconic and well-remembered Adam Strange cover "Planets in Peril", that ultimately inspired Jim Steranko's creation of the cover for Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. #6.
    From the Jim Steranko Collection.
