Carl Barks Uncle Scrooge #62 Page 4 Original Art (Gold Key, 1966). Uncle Scrooge and the boys land in the Australian Outback to investigate dingo attacks on his sheep farm. There, they discover the heavy wire fences built to "hold out even women drivers" have been chewed through, in this prime page from "The Queen of the Wild Dog Packs" by the Good Duck artist, Carl Barks. It's well-known that many of the art pages Barks did for Western Publishing (aka Gold Key) were thrown away, making every surviving page like this a rare treat for the many fans and collectors who love his work. This particular page features Scrooge, Donald Duck, and two of the nephews, drawn in ink and blue pencil on two pieces of Bristol board taped together from behind, with an overall image size of 16" x 23.25". The art is in Excellent condition. The bottom page has been signed by Carl Barks in ink.
