Carl Barks Rug Riders' Last Flight Painting CB-OIL 97 Original Art (1975). This painting was based on the cover for Uncle Scrooge #50 (Gold Key, 1964). A beloved piece that really captures the excitement and adventure often included in a Barks tale about Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and the Nephews. It was printed in Graphic Gallery #10, and again in The Fine Art of Walt Disney's Donald Duck by Carl Barks. The work is also known as Barks Code #06-75 (marked on the reverse side). A masterful work in oil on 12" x 16" masonite board. Set in a handsome wood frame that measures 20.5" x 24.5". Signed in the lower left. In Excellent condition.
