Bud Sagendorf Popeye Sunday Comic Strip Original Art Group of 2 (King Features Syndicate, 1972-1983). Two humorous Popeye Sundays featuring Swee'Pea by Bud Sagendorf. The first is dated 9-10-72 and has Swee'Pea finally getting a 'yes' from Popeye, and the second is dated 9-11-83 and has Popeye using Swee'Pea's head to get the groceries. Classic silliness from the world famous sailorman! Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 21" x 14.25". The toned boards have opening panel stat paste-ups, corner creasing, and handling wear. The 9-10-72 strip has a crease between the top and middle tiers, reinforced by tape on the back. Overall, in Very Good condition.
