    Description

Brian Bolland Batman:The Killing Joke Page 14 Original Art (DC,1988). Quite frankly, it would be hard to overstate the impact that this single page has had on the continuity and history of DC Comics. This is the page from 1988's Killing Joke -- the page where Barbara (Batgirl) Gordon gets shot, an event that kept her in a wheelchair for almost 25 years and caused the creation of her new identity as Oracle. There are few pages in the history of comics that have had this kind of long-lasting impact. From the mighty pen and ink of comics legend Brian Bolland, this page is on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.75". There is some yellowing on the top margin and very slight yellow on the bottom margin, and a tiny corner ding. The image area is in Excellent condition.
