    Description

Bob Powell - Original Complete Story Art for Black Cat #36 "The Last Man On Earth" (Harvey, 1951). Wild four page time-travel/monster story by the talented Bob Powell, with a twist ending. As was his custom, Powell added a light blue wash to the art in order to indicate shading; it makes the black and white pages really look sharp. The art measures 14" x 19.25", with an image area of 12" x 18". There's a red smudge on page one that doesn't enter the image area, and some paste-up stats are missing on page two (on a newspaper featured in one panel); however, the overall condition of the pages is excellent.
