    Description

Bob Montana Pep Comics #27 Archie Story Page 4 Original Art (MLJ/Archie, 1942). Archie is a reluctant candidate for class president in this early page that pre-dates Archie Comics #1. It's from his sixth Pep story, and co-stars Jughead and Veronica. The brainy little guy with glasses in panels three and four is Theodosius Tadpole, and this story was his first appearance (his character would later evolve into Dilton Doiley). The art is in ink and graphite with an image area of 13" x 18.25". The page has a bit of soiling, but is otherwise in Very Good condition.
