Bob Lubbers Robin Malone Sunday Comic Strip Original Art and Color Guide dated 11-12-67 (NEA, 1967). A combination of lovely women, some nice underwater images, and even a bit of romance comic style opening panels make for a fine piece of work! Lubbers started with graphite roughs on the reverse side and then lightboxed them though to the front in graphite and ink on Bristol board with an image area of 24" x 16". The logo is a stat paste-up. The board has been scored and quarter-folded to allow mailing to the syndicate. This puts a crease running through the middle of one panel. Signed in Panel 7. Toned and in Very Good condition. Comes with the hand-colored printer's color guide. From the Estate of Bob Lubbers.
