    Bob Lubbers (as Bob Lewis) Secret Agent X-9 Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 10 (King Features Syndicate, 1962-1966). Lubbers, already a veteran of the comic-book scene and a key assistant to Li'l Abner's Al Capp, steps out on his own with this historic espionage feature. The dates are 3-27-62, 5-5-64, 9-11-65, 7-30-65, 3-1-66, 3-4-66, 3-3-66, 3-17-66, 3-21-66, and 1-27-66. Created in ink over graphite on DuoTone chemical-shading board. The image areas average 16.5" x 4.75". Varied degrees of age-toning, paste-up and stripped in text corrections, adhesive residue, production notes in the borders, small pinholes, edge wear, and soft corner bumps.
