Bill Ward Romp V6#47 March-1968 Single Panel Gag Illustration Original Art (Timely Features/Humorama, 1968). "If you don't believe I was lonely while you were away, ask all the boys I've been out out. They'll tell you." One of the finest Bill Ward single-panel gags we have ever seen! wonderfully detailed from the rich, lush background to all of the Ward-girl's... uh, lusher assets. This gag is so lovely, in fact, it was reprinted in the October 1971 issue of Popular Cartoons. Rendered edge-to-edge in ink and ink wash over graphite on 7.75" x 11.25" Bristol board.
