Bill Ward Joker #62 February-1959 Single Panel Gag Illustration Original Art (Humorama, 1959). "Peahaps that's the way your American girls look - but believe me - no French girl ever did!" An artist gets a critique from his model in this Ward gag, which was reprinted in the September-1966 issue of Fun House Comedy. Rendered in ink, white paint, and Conte crayon on 17" x 23.5" art paper. The paper is loose from a piece of 18" x 25.25" Bristol board, to which it was affixed. The toned art has residue along the edge where it was affixed, with chipping and a tear at the bottom. Signed in the lower left image area. In Very Good condition.
