    Description

Bernie Wrightson "The Day Before" Splash Page 1 Original Art (c. 1968). This fabulous dino-age fantasy image is an unfinished and unpublished page, possibly for a fanzine from the late 1960s. It appears to be the first page of a story titled "The Day Before" and it is inscribed and signed for Steve Harper. There is reason to believe that it may have been intended for an issue of Graphic Showcase or Frazetta Forever, two fanzines from the late '60s/early '70s. The page is only approximately two-thirds inked. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight tanning, more so on the edges. Edge and corner wear with pinholes in corners. Overall in Excellent condition.
