    Description

Bernie Wrightson Swamp Thing #3 Page 2 Original Art (DC, 1973). The muck-monster, who wished to be a man again, returns to the castle where Anton Arcane had actually turned him back in to plain-old-human Alec Holland, in the previous issue. But it's just not to be, as the world seems to need a Swamp Thing. This moody page is produced in ink over graphite, on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". It features some great full-body and close-up shots of Swampy by the hand of the man who co-created him, with writer Len Wein. It is signed and personalized by Bernie Wrightson in the lower left panel. The page is slightly tanned, with some production tape and tape residue, otherwise in Excellent condition. From the Tom Tataranowicz Collection.
