    Description

Bernie Wrightson Swamp Thing #2 "The Man Who Wanted Forever" Page 2 Original Art (DC, 1972). What an incredible page! Swamp Thing's origin is recapped in this flashback scene from the second issue of the original series, with our mossy hero recalling the events that turned Dr. Alec Holland into the fearsome creature he would forever be, a transformation that would rob him of his beautiful wife and associate, Linda. If Swamp Thing is your thing, you couldn't ask for a better page than this! The art is in ink and white paint over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". Other than the yellowed tape stains in the outer borders, the page remains in Excellent condition. The reverse side is signed "Berni Wrightson" in ink. From the Tom Tataranowicz Collection.
