Barry Windsor-Smith StormWatch Unpublished Cover Original Art (Image, 1993). This piece is an amazing little mystery. It appears to be a promo piece for the 1993 StormWatch Special #1. The logo can be seen very faintly in blue pencil along the top. On the left, just above the BWS signature, in blue pencil it says "Sword & Sorcery Comes To Image." Graphite, ink, and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image size of 16.25" x 18.5". This is an amazing two-fer deal, because on the backside of the page is a rough blue pencil design for the layout of the Eternal Warrior/Archer & Armstrong double-cover from 1993 (Valiant Comics). So that is a possible clue to the date for the front side -- sometime after March 1993. Very slight yellowing on left side, but piece is in Excellent condition.
