    Austin Briggs Flash Gordon Strip du 15 juillet 1940 (King Features Syndicate, 1940). Dans ce strip issu de la première histoire de la série quotidienne, intitulée « Princess Lita », Flash essaie de tromper les Hommes-Singes pour sauver la vie de Dale Arden. Cet original a été réalisé à l'encre de Chine, avec ombrage au crayon bleu, sur un carton bristol avec une surface image d'environ 14 x 54.5 cm. Un manque de trame Zipatone a laissé des taches décolorées. En très bon état. De la collection Al Williamson.

    Austin Briggs Flash Gordon Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-15-40 (King Features Syndicate, 1940). Flash tries to fool the Ape-Men in an effort to save Dale Arden's life. From the first story for the daily series, titled "Princess Lita". The strip was created in ink over graphite with blue pencil shading on Bristol board with an image area of approximately 5.75" x 21.5". There is missing Zipatone that has left discolored patches on the original art board. In Very Good condition. From the Al Williamson Collection.
