    Arthur Rackham The Zankiwank and the Bletcher Witch Preliminary Cover Illustration Original Art (Alpine House EC, 1896). Arthur Rackham is known for being one of the leading literary figures during the Golden Age of British book illustration. His illustrations have been paired with literary classics such as Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Gulliver's Travel's, and more. This adventurous preliminary work would eventually be used in the S.J. Adair Fitzgerald book The Zankiwank and the Bletcher Witch. Created in ink on tracing paper with an image area of 6.5" x 4" matted to 15" x 14". There is overall toning, wear to edges except left edge, small tear on the right edge, creases to top right corner and edge. The art is taped to mat on the top edge, adhesive spots on the top margin. In Very Good condition.
