Arthur Adams, Bill Anderson, and Whilce Portacio Longshot #1 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1985). The first page from the first appearance of Longshot! He was not "A Man Without A Past" for long, as co-creators Ann Nocenti and Arthur Adams gave him a bang-up origin that also created Spiral and Mojo. All three characters would become major players in the various X-Men related books very soon, as Longshot became a member of Marvel's merry mutant team! The inks on this issue are credited to Bill Anderson and Whilce Portacio. Scott Williams may have assisted as well. The page is signed in the bottom margins by both Arthur Adams (who drew a small headshot), and inker Bill Anderson. Highly detailed the densely penciled and inked piece is on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15" (counting paste-up indicia). The corners and top edge are trimmed, otherwise in Excellent condition.
