Alex Ross - Original Pencil Prelim for Avengers #4 Cover Recreation (1999). Very cool tight pencil prelim by the legendary Alex Ross, a recreation of the Jack Kirby cover to Avengers #4, which was used as one of two alternate covers for the 1999 Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. Features a bold image of Captain America leading the Avengers on a charge. Approximately 7" x 9" on thin art paper, with an image area of approximately 3 1/2" x 5". Signed by the artist in the lower right.
