It's worth reminding you that Alex Ross is such a fan-favorite artist that the Comics Buyer's Guide eventually retired the "Best Painter" award after Ross had won it so many years in a row. This incredible oversized two-page spread for one of Alex Ross' many tabloid format books for DC makes the point. The Dark Knight exemplifies the title of the book on this action-packed collage of scenes. Rendered in gouache over graphite on oversized Bristol board with an image area of 25.5" x 17.5", matted to 32" x 24". In Excellent condition.
