Alex Raymond Jungle Jim Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-15-39 (King Features, 1939). A jungle sacrifice will happen unless Jim and Kolu take "a desperate chance," in this exquisite three-panel companion strip to the Sunday Flash Gordon page. This is a great page, with a full panel of Raymond Good Girl art, which contrasts nicely with the "hideous idol" in panels two and three. The art is in ink over graphite with red ink key lines on illustration board, with an image area of 24" x 11".
