    Alberto Vargas High Heels and Vargas Preliminary Cover Original Art (c. 1960s). Alberto Vargas is legendary for his interpretation of beautiful women, with the term "Vargas Girls" being recognized around the world. This piece is a preliminary cover idea for a proposed book of Vargas' art by Robert Lash Robbins. The two worked together on some projects in the early 1960s. Rendered in graphite on art paper with an image area of 8.5" x 11.5". Toned, spiral pad holes at the top, with a tear on the right edge and staining, creasing, and wear consummate with age. In Good condition.
