Al Kilgore - Bob Hope Painting and Preliminary Illustration Original Art Group of 2 (c. 1980s). Created as an illustration to accompany an article about the Hollywood legend, this fantastic caricature of Bob Hope was created in gouache over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 11.75" x 15.25". There are some slight creases in the board just into the image area on the left side. The colors are still sharp and vibrant, and the piece is signed by Kilgore in the lower right. It comes with the pure graphite prelim art on onionskin paper. The prelim piece has been folded and is wrinkled with tears on the left side. It is in Good condition, while the painting itself is in Very Good condition.
