    Description

World Without End (Allied Artists, 1956). Six Sheet (81"X81") Style B. This reworking of H.G. Wells' novel "The Time Machine" featured women wearing tunics designed by Esquire and Playboy illustrator, Alberto Vargas. Allied Artists took advantage of Vargas' designs and created a special, additional six sheet for the films advertising campaign using his world famous "pin-up" art. The poster illustrated in the pressbook had never been seen and for years collectors had begun to wonder if it had even been produced. Last year we offered, what up until that time was the only known copy of this poster. Offered here is the second copy of this poster to appear! This fabulous piece is exceedingly rare and represents one of the most important illustrators of the 20th century! Here is truly a unique chance to acquire this legendary poster, and in fabulous condition. Very Fine+ on Linen.
