    Description

Navigator, The (Metro Goldwyn Picture, 1924). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). At the request of his star Buster Keaton, producer Joe Schenck purchased an obsolete ocean liner for $20,000. Keaton wanted to use the boat as a prop in his upcoming comedy, but began production with very little plot in his head. Eventually he came up with the story of two wealthy pampered young people, who through a series of fantastic plot developments end up stranded on a drifting, deserted ocean liner. This wonderful scene card features the great "stoneface" as the pampered hero taking a bath at home. Very Fine+.
