    Description

Dinner at Eight (MGM, 1933). One Sheet (27" X 41") Based on a play by George Kaufman and Edna Ferber, this film was producer David O. Selznick's first MGM project and with it he brought George Cukor to direct. This film was MGM showing off its stable of stars in grand fashion, living the life of luxury, during the height of the depression. This poster is one of two known copies, with this one being, reportedly, the far better of the two. Very Fine+ on Linen.
