This post-Neal Adams/pre-Dark Knight era of Batman offers many artistic pleasures, not the least of which are frequent covers by the unsung hero of Gotham City, Jim Aparo. In this lot you'll also find issues drawn by Gene Colan, Jim Starlin, Don Newton, and John Byrne. The sixteen issues in this group are CGC NM/MT 9.8 with white pages, except as noted: #302, 303, 341, 346, and 363 (off-white to white pages); 340, 343, 399, 401-403; 348 (off-white pages); 350 and 359 (CGC NM+ 9.6 with off-white to white pages); 365 and 370 (CGC NM+ 9.6 with white pages). Atari inserts in #340, 343, and 346. Catwoman back-up stories in #346 and 350; other villain appearances include Two-Face, Killer Croc, Joker, Man-Bat, and Nocturna. Overstreet 2004 NM- 9.2 value for group = $165.
