Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 Signed Copy (Mirage Studios, 1984) CGC NM/MT 9.8 White pages. This is one of the highest-graded copies of the rare first printing of one of the most influential comic books of the 1980s, featuring the origins and first appearances of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Splinter, and Shredder. This issue had an initial print run of a mere 3,000 copies, making especially high-grade copies such as this one quite scarce in general, and driving auction results as high as $186,000 in recent years. The wraparound cover is by Kevin Eastman, and the story and interior art are by Eastman and Peter Laird. It is currently the #2 book on Overstreet's list of Top 25 Copper Age Comics.
