    Description

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (Mirage Studios, 1984) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. A nice high-grade copy of the origins and first appearances of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Splinter, and Shredder, which had an extremely small initial print run of just 3,000 copies. The wraparound cover is by Kevin Eastman, and the story and interior art are by Eastman and Peter Laird. Overstreet doesn't list values for this edition, but we'll note that just this year we auctioned an 8.5 copy for $3,107 and a 9.4 copy for $5,377! CGC census 11/13: 48 in 8.0, 225 higher.
