    Description

Vernon Grant - "Picture Set No. 1" Complete Set of 6 Kellogg's Mail-Away Prints, and Sterling Salt Standee Group of 7 (Kellogg/International Salt Co., 1938/1946).
In 1938, customers had to send in box tops to redeem for this set of six gorgeous Vernon Grant prints. Although the 14" x 17.5" prints are toned and have wear, some whiteout touch-up in the margins, and some even have corner wear and damage, they present wonderfully. Each has been affixed to a same-sized foam core board. Also included is a fold-up 3-D display from Sterling Salt from 1946. It features their answer to the Morton Salt Girl, in the form of Salty the Sailor! This standee was likely designed for an earlier use, as there is a printed paste-up with the "Pass the Salt" text information. It seems to cover a Sterling "Magic Garden" offer of some type. The scrappy sailor man stands 13.5" tall and 10.5" wide, printed on chit board, with a fold-up stand on the reverse side. The piece is toned. All are in Very Good condition.
