Randy Gallegos Magic: The Gathering Restless Prairie Illustration Original Artwork (2022). Released on November 17th, 2023, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan is the 98th expansion set for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. This set is Magic's version of the Underground World trope, and features the pirates and dinosaurs that full the plane of Ixalan. Introduced in this set was the Land card Restless Prairie, illustrated by Randy Gallegos. Gallegos began providing artwork for MTG during the 1995 expansion set Ice Age and has over 200 cards under his belt. Offered in this lot is the original artwork done for Restless Prairie. Rendered in oil over acrylic, this piece measures approximately 20" x 16" on a 22" x 17" art board. There is light wear to the edges and corners. The overall condition is Excellent. Also included are 2 copies of the card, one being the nonfoil version and the other the foil version. Both have been signed by Gallegos. Note that these autographs have not been authenticated.Auction Info
