Popeye Ad-Trix Trading Card Complete SGC-Graded Set of 66 (Ad-Trix, 1959). "Popeye, the Sailor Man" made his debut in the late 1920's in a comic titled Thimble Theatre and his appeal only grew from there. The spinach eatin' sailor, Olive Oyl, and of course Wimpy soon saw their likenesses on a multitude of endorsements but none more popular than these trading cards. This 66-card set was released in 1959 by the Ad-Trix Corp. and remains of the more desirable Popeye-themed card editions both in the US and abroad. All 66 cards are professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC. Grades vary but average 7.5 (NM+) Includes a whopping 18 cards graded at SGC 8, 10 at SGC 8.5, and 5 at SGC 9.
