Pokémon Venusaur #15 First Edition Base Set Trading Card (Wizards of the Coast, 1999) CGC Mint 9. Venusaur is the final evolved form of the starter grass-type Pokémon Bulbasaur, and is the very Pokémon depicted on this first edition Base Set card! The giant flower on Venusaur's back is where it absorbs the Sun's rays in order to unleash its Solarbeam attack.
