Pokémon Unlimited Base Set Uncut Sheet (Wizards of the Coast, 1999) Rare, Holo. Pokémon was first introduced in Japan in the mid-1990s and quickly became a global phenomenon! Wizards of the Coast, which was already distributing an already highly popular card game known as Magic: The Gathering, was able to get the licensing to distribute the Pokémon Trading Card Game internationally in 1999. The original set, known as the Base Set, included a total of 102 cards, with the first 16 cards being holographic. It included artwork from famed artists like Ken Sugimori and Mitsuhiro Arita, just to name a few. Offered here is an uncut sheet of holographic rare cards from the Base Set, including Raichu 14, Hitmonchan 7, Ninetales 12, Gyarados 6, and Mewtwo 10. It also includes 1 card from the Jungle set: Clefable 1! The sheet includes 11 rows of 10, for a total of 110 cards! It measures approximately 26" x 39.5", and has light wear to the edges and corners. Note that the sheet is faded. The overall condition is Very Good. It is inside a 31.25" x 44.75" frame.
