    Description

Pokémon Raichu #14 First Edition Base Set Trading Card (Wizards of the Coast, 1999) PSA GEM MINT 10. The evolved form of fan-favorite Pikachu is featured on this first edition Base Set card, Raichu! This Pokémon is a part of Lt. Surge's, leader of the Vermilion City's Gym team. If you watched the series you might recall that Raichu overpowered Pikachu and gave him a quick defeat. After the loss Ash considered evolving Pikachu by exposing him to a Thunder Stone but ultimately they decided to go back and use Pikachu's speed as their advantage against Raichu's strength. They were able to defeat the powerful Raichu and add the Thunder Badge to their collection. The artwork is done by Ken Sugimori. PSA has certified 87 copies earning GEM MINT 10 grade.
