Description
Pokémon Gengar #94 Japanese Vending Masaki Promo Trading Card (Media Factory, 1999) PSA MINT 9. The card offered here features one of the two first Pokémon that fans were introduced to during the opening scene of the mega-popular TV show, Gengar! Do you recall the opening scene? No? Well we've got you covered! The very first scene was a battle between a Gengar and Nidorino! Ash Ketchum was watching the battle on TV. This particular card is one of five unnumbered holographic cards released for the Communication Evolution Campaign. The special event ran from November 24, 1999 through April 30, 1999 and participants were asked to send in a copy of any card featuring Gengar along with a copy of Bill's PC to Media Factory. Afterwards the publisher would send you a copy of this card. It's known that approximately 36,000 copies of these cards were made for the event. The artwork is done by Hironobu Yashida. PSA has certified 124 copies earning MINT 9 grade and 45 graded higher.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
