Description

Nintendo E3 Special Edition e-Reader Pack (Nintendo, 2002). Who remembers the Nintendo e-Reader for the Game Boy Advance? e-Cards featured Dot Code technology on the borders that let them be swiped through the e-Reader, which would unlock new features in existing games or make available a selection of minigames to be played on the e-Reader itself. The Pokémon Trading Card Game featured e-Cards for a short period of time with the e-Card Series. Offered in this lot is a pack of promotional e-Reader cards that was given out at E3 in 2002. This pack contains 4 cards, with 1 Manhole Game & Watch card, 2 Pokémon cards (Pichu 58 and Hoppip 112), and a special Kirby prize card. This Kirby card is considered to be the rarest English e-Reader card, because very few copies, when scanned, would turn out to be 1st or 2nd Prize cards! Whoever managed to pull a winning card could get a prize--but only after their winning card was torn in half! What if the sealed pack offered here, which is in Excellent condition, contains one of these winning cards? Only 100 2nd Prize cards were distributed, and the 1st Prize cards were even more limited, with only 10 handed out! Could one be inside? You'll have to win this lot to find out!
