Description
Death Note "Friend" Complete Storyboard Studio Print Set with Handwritten Edits (Madhouse, 2007). Masterfully written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated with great detail by Takeshi Obata, the manga Death Note starts with a god of death, the shinigami Ryuk, dropping his Death Note in the human world. A Japanese teenager, Light Yagami, finds the strange item that holds power to kill whoever has its name written on it, unfolding a series of events that had fans impatiently waiting to find out what would happen next. The series received an anime adaptation by animation studio Madhouse in 2006. Offered in this lot is a stunning studio-used storyboard print set from the anime! This storyboard is from episode 14, "Friend," in which Light figures out exactly how he'll use Misa and her shinigami Rem to help get rid of L. This 87-page studio-used set features shot layouts as well as action and dialogue notes. All pages are printed on standard 8.5'' x 11.5'' paper and are an incredibly rare look behind the scenes at the making of the series. Note that 11 pages in this set feature handwritten notes and edits in red! The storyboard has light wear to the edges and corners with an overall condition of Very Good.Auction Info
