    Description

The Fugs/All Men Joy Avalon Ballroom Concert Poster (Family Dog, 1968). Original San Francisco concert poster designed by Jack Jackson, aka Jaxon, for a set of shows at the Avalon featuring The Fugs, the avant-garde band starring poets Ed Sanders and Tuli Kupferberg. Of interest is one of the opening acts, listed here as "All Men Joy" but more commonly known as The Allman Joys; this is the band that would evolve into the Allman Brothers Band a few years later. The poster was only printed once. It measures 14" x 21.625", and is in Very Good condition with tack holes in all four corners. From the Eric Sack Collection.
