    The Flintstones Playset #5948 in Original Box (Louis Marx and Company, 1962). Yabba Dabba Doo! This is a complete Flintstones Playset, based on the popular Prime Time television animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera. It was produced by Louis Marx and Company as part of their superb line of playsets issued from the 1950s until the early 1970s. All of the components are in the original illustrated box with all four sides, lid, and three tuck-in flaps as issued. The playmat that served as the base for the playset is included and measures approximately 27" x 36". The box and all components are in Very Fine condition. This lot will have to ship from Dallas to the winning bidder.

    More Information:

    Includes the 11" x 17" two-sided P-1361 Instruction Sheet, with all components of the set in the Marx printed paper bags. The set includes:

    1) Four cream-color plastic figures of Fred and Wilma Flintstone plus Barney and Betty Rubble, 2" to 2.375" height, in bag.

    2) Two of Fred's car in red and blue plastic, with six parts to assemble, in bag.

    3) Two of Barney's car in red and blue plastic, eight pieces to assemble, in bag.

    4) Ten Citizens of Bedrock, one Sabertooth Tiger (1" x 2.5" x 1"), and one Dino (2.375" height) in cream-color plastic. There are six different poses of the people, and they measure 2.125" to 2.5" in height; all are in bag.

    5) Four green plastic strips of four trees measuring 4" x 8.75" x 1".

    6) Green plastic accessories in bag - Bedrock Sign, two GAS signs (horizontal and vertical format), Lunch sign, two Mail Boxes, Shopping Cart, three stools, three Television antennae; all are in bag.

    7) Fourteen light green plastic Prehistoric Animals in five poses, .75" to 2.75" height, in two bags.

    8) Foliage - Three 2-tree sets and one single tree in brown plastic with seven matching leaf canopies in green; Four fern bases in brown and four matching plants in green; three dead trees in gray: two stumps and one tree. All items in bags.

    9) Buildings - Rubble's House, 2-part, in tan plastic; Rubble's Garage, 2-part in tan plastic; Building, 2-part in tan; Snack Bar, 2-part in tan. All in bag.

    10) More Buildings - Flintstone's House, 2-part in gray plastic; Supermarket, 2-part in gray; Gas Station, 2-part with Canopy and two Gas Pumps to assemble, in gray. All in bag.

    11) Twelve sections of interlocking fence in gray plastic, each 2" x 5.5".

    12) Four gray and green plastic Rock Walls, measuring 8.25" x 1" .75".
